This is my first trip to Chennai, which is a very unforgettable one where I received so much love, met many new amazing people and learned new insights which impacted my life and changed me.
One of the most memorable nights during the conference was when we were praying for our own country on stage and Pastor Anton said to me that I am a holy child because I choose God which touches me because I am still struggling with my sins yet God sees me as holy as long as I truly repent before Him and go back to God each time I fail. Then God gave me the anointing to pray for the youths in Singapore, to be filled by God’s love because although most of us have parents but we are spiritual orphans because our parents are busy working and not with us most of the time, or maybe they are always with us but they never really show their love to us, resulting in children seeking love in the wrong ways. Most of us are using worldly love and pleasures to fill our voids which only God can fill, resulting in many people being unsatisfied with their lives, unsatisfied with their loved ones, unsatisfied with their jobs and etc because the world is limited and God is infinite. What God gives, the world cannot give. Being filled with God’s love is the only way to be changed from our sinful ways. My desire is that Singaporeans will experience and abide in the Father’s love, to become a holy country that reaches out and influences the other countries around us with what God has blessed us with. We Singaporeans are really very blessed but we need love. Though we are small, we can change the world by sharing our love and blessings.
One of the most precious things I gained from this trip is a heart of compassion, which is the Father’s heart. God gave me this heart when this little girl whom I love so much walked towards me, crying her lungs out during the conference and my heart just breaks for her where I hugged her tightly and kept telling her “I love you so much, you’re my precious, I am your Father, I have always been with you and I have never and will never leave you.” She cried for a long time and finally fell asleep in my arms where I wished that she would remain in my embrace forever and this is just like what God feels for every one of us. He loves us so much that His heart breaks deeply when He saw us going through hardships and how He longs to hold us in His arms and tell us how much He loves us and watching us fall sleep in His embrace. Until now I still misses the little girl and would pray for her each time I think of her. Thank You Father for showing me your love for us that is so wide and so passionate, that I am just in awe of your great love, how you love each and every one of us is just so amazing.
I miss Chennai so much and wishes to go back to visit them next year! The children there are so passionate and so different! They are full of smiles and always rushes to me to talk to me, hug me, play with me and dance with me(: Though they have a tragical past, they are full of hope for their future in Jesus Christ! Praise the Lord! You are the Father to the fatherless and the Hope to the hopeless!

My heart is just filled with thanksgiving and in awe of God and what He has done in my life right now. Who am I Lord? That you are mindful of me and that you hear all my prayers and seen all my struggles to live holy for You.You saved me from all evil and has set me apart to live holy for You. You have put people with fire in my life to set me up on fire and my heart is burning for You right now. Yes God keep me burning as I abide and stand firm in Your Word so that I will not be shaken. Praise God! Praise God! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
This year's festival of praise is just awesome! Jesus is magnified and glorified in Singapore as the churches come together and worship Him as one. Oh how I wish FOP is not just 2 days! God loves to see His children coming together in a big reunion and it's such a happy occasion for the family of Christ to be united together with our Father God and to be in His glory.
The message shared by John Bevere about extraordinary life in God's grace is just exactly what God is teaching me recently! Praise God!
I have been asking God to remove my weakness but He told me that "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12: 9
God's grace is all that I need and I will cry out for your grace to be upon me whenever I am weak for when I am weak, I will be empowered.
Just 3 days ago, I was reminded that my name Jessie means God's grace/gift in Hebrew. Thank God for giving me the faith and reminder that I'm living by your grace. Oh God I pray that You will do a quick work in me, that I will change from living ordinary to extraordinary.
I'm so excited to continue to be in His mighty presence the next 10 days in India! Yah!

Respiration: The chemical breakdown of complex organic substances, such as carbohydrates and fats, that takes place in the cells and tissues of animals and plants, during which energy is released and carbon dioxide produced
Every cell in our bodies has built-in "powerhouses" called mitchondria that releases energy. These powerhouses depend on oxygen brought into the body through breathing. So breathing is absolutely necessary for respiration to take place, and the respiration process is essential for energy to be released so the body can function and take another breath
The Hebrew word God pours our His Spirit is the same as God breathes on His people. God's Spirit is the same as His breath. In the same way our breathing oxygen releases energy in our bodies, God's breathing into us releases the energy of His Spirit in our lives. God breathed into a lump of clay and Adam came to life. We need God to breathe into us and give us life.
Prayer is the breath of God filling us up again. We need to breathe deeply of the breathe of God. In doing so, we will discover that the energy of God to complete the task at hand is released within us.
Marathon runners has developed a discipline in breathing. A natural, deep breath refreshes the runner's entire body with every inhalation, and clears the lungs with every exhalation.
Walking with God should be automatic as the respiratory process. We walk and breathe at the same time without thinking about breathing! Thus we need to learn what it means to walk in the Spirit.
Dear Father I long to be spiritually fit, I want to run after You. And I know that I have to learn to breathe deeply of Your breath to be a spiritual marathon runner.
The church receives Your Word

Dear Lord yesterday You spoke to us that as long as we believe in You, You will turn our water into wine. Yes God the church receives Your Word for us and here we are, humbly ourselves to be your vessel, God we want to see Your miracles in us, we want to see our water turned into wine and yes we believe it's happening now! Thank You Lord for not looking down at how little we have. We may have little resources, little talents but we have BIG faith in You for You are a BIG GOD!
Use our little talents, our little resources to bless Your people we pray. We want to see revival, we want to see the church being filled up with people and that we will then need a much bigger building for the huge number of people. Oh God hear our prayers, we wanna see Your Name lifted up in our church, in our lives. We will not stop praying, we will not stop filling ourselves with waters for you to turn into wine. We will pray, we will be faithful in the small things and You will give us bigger things. Thank You Lord! Use all of us for Your Kingdom! AMEN!

Many times when I sinned against God, I was just stucked at the feeling of guilt and feeling all disappointed with myself but I didn't believe that God can change something evil into something good.
Just like the prodigal son, God wants us to come back to His embrace each time we fail because He is a compassionate Father. He is filled with joy each time we go back to Him and He celebrates our return(:
So don't be afraid of meeting failures, don't be afraid to make mistakes. Just repent and God will forgive us. It is only at times when we fail, that we learn and change for the better. It is only when we fail that we can taste the mercy and love of our Father(: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9

The 3 stages of repentance: Observe- Observe your reactions that is ungodly Reflect- Reflect upon the cause of you reacting this way (emptiness/insecurities etc) Discuss- Get people involved. Discussion and asking qns are parts of learning
The 3 stages of belief: Plan- We sin usually is because we have used someone or something as a substitute for God. Thus we need to plan a strategy for recognizing the feelings that lead us to embrace that behaviour so that you can react in a proper way. i.e if shopping is our habit, make a plan to only buy necessities and let God fill the emptiness. Account-For the plan to be effective, we need at least 1 person to hold accountable to it cos it's easy to cheat if no one else knows. Act-Faith comes to the surface and produces action! (:

Though nothing that seems very significant happened these 2 days, hearts are changed, filled once again by the love of God. Though from humans' eyes, it seems like revival is not here yet but no, revival is already here! It came! And if we continue in being faithful in doing what God has placed before us, God will placed greater things in our lives. Revival has started and it will grow and grow and GROW!:D

Learning to forgive myself everyday

Many times in life I don't know what to do to make the best decision, or maybe a right decision. Sometimes I ended up not making any decision for the fear of the consequence but that's the worst decision. Life is not about trying to be perfect because you will put in all your effort and at the end of the day, find out that you're still imperfect and maybe you won't wanna do anything again. The truth is, God loves us with our imperfections! YAY! Many times when we hear the phase Jesus loves you, we thought yeah maybe he loves my good grades, he loves my diligence but not my impatience, my bad habits... If we think this way, we underestimated the wideness and the depth of God's infinite love! Yes though God doesn't love sin, it doesn't mean that He doesn't love us when we sin. In fact God loves sinners! Jesus said He come not to condemn our sins but to forgive our sins. Jesus didn't come to stay with the Pharisees who think that they are holy but Jesus dwell among the sinners, the tax collectors. So all we need to do is to come before God, confess our sins and God will forgive all our sins. Life is all about forgiveness because no one is perfect, so everyone needs forgiveness. I found out that very importantly, we need to forgive ourselves. Yes God is always ready to forgive us, but many times we are the ones who are condemning ourselves. We say to ourselves,"I'm not as good as her! I am the slowest learner! I hate myself for being so sensitive! I wish I could have more of this and less of that..." If we're always living in self condemnation, we'll never be happy and will never experience the goodness that God has put in our lives. We need to learn to appreciate our goodness and forgive ourselves for our weakness, trusting that God has already forgiven us and that His grace is sufficient for us in our weakness. David is a man furthest away from perfection. He stole a man's wife, he murdered an innocent man. Yet God said David is a man after His heart. What is so special about this man? The Psalms of David is full praises of God's great love and forgiveness. David trusted in God's love and forgiveness. David didn't dwell in his mistakes. He focused on the goodness of God. I am once again reminded of the song,"Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me..." I'm a sinner but because of His grace I can be free. Because of His forgiveness, I can forgive myself and others and be who I am. YEAH!!!~~~~

Riding on the emotion roller coaster

It has been days of emotions roller coaster... I got a big blow in my life that hit me down to the bottom of the pit. Literally. It's really depressing whenever I think about it. It's like a dashed dream of 7years... I thought I've let go but I didn't. However, I'm thankful that God allowed me to go through this and face my emotions. He allowed this cos He knew that I haven't let go... And He wants me to let go so that I can trust and surrender to Him completely and just yearn for Him because He's the best and He has the best in store for me(: It's like He can't give me something better if I keep holding on to what I thought is the best... Trusting in His word makes me happy:D This incident makes me depend on the Lord even more than before. Though it has been a struggle of dwelling in my emotions or in the Lord, God is always with me and leads me to victory. This saddening period makes me yearn for God even more cos only He can fill the emptiness in me and I'm just so happy to be in His presence and to feel His love for me(: The best thing is that He's with me and He has given me 2 precious weapons to fight against my emotions and they are His words and music/singing/praises/. They bring me up to the sky!! IloveGODttm!!

The top New Year's resolutions are often to lose weight or start exercising but research has shown that less than 50% pan out which means our resolutions made for this year has 50% chance of failure! BUT! With the right motivation, you will be able to keep your commitment to good physical condition!(:
It is biblical to keep your body healthy!
Many christians think that we don't have to bother so much about what we eat because we trust that God will protect us from diseases, or that it's ok to have a shorter live from unhealthy lifestyle since we're going heaven sooner or later or more commonly we might think that we should focus on spiritual things, not physical cos physical things are too worldly. I used to have this misconception too, that keeping fit is because people are afraid of death.
However, I learned that there is a direct correlation between the condition of a spiritual life and a physical body. For instance, Proverbs 3:7-8 says that fearing God and keeping ourselves pure will "bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones." Thus if we fear God, knowing that our body is His temple, we will take extra care in what we eat and to keep ourselves healthy to honor and serve the Lord with our bodies.
Also, the Apostle John offers a greeting, wishing wellbeing by stating, "I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along" (3 John 1:2). Moreover, we know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, that we are not our own (1 Cor 6:19) and that destroying His temple is a sin (1 Cor 3:17). Our bodies are not ours to do with as we please, they are God's temples are He bought with Jesus' blood; thus it is crucial that we take good care of them.
Furthermore, The Apostle Paul makes references to sports to demonstrate the connection between physical and the spiritual. For instance, he shows that both fitness and godliness can be achieved through discipline: "Train yourself to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come" (1 Tim 4:7-8) The commitment to health and fitness ought be be fueled by the motivation to glorify God: "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God" (1 Cor 10:31).
Now, with the right motivation and purpose, here are some tips to health and wellbeing for 2011!
1) The gym/your team is your mission field
Think of the fitness center as the place to connect with unbelievers. Through the years, I've made many great friends through table-tennis and volleyball. Sports create great opportunities to bond and to share God's love(:
2) Change your prayers
What do you pray for before you eat a meal? Of course, we ought to give thanks to God for His provision and grace. But the next time before you eat, what about praying that whether you eat or drink you do it for the glory of the Lord? Pray that you would control yourself from overeating. Keep yourself away from fast foods or quick fixes. Eat healthy food!
3) Develop a lifestyle of wellbeing
Make it a habit to eat well and exercise. Almost like not having your teeth brushed or your QT done, not being active ought to trigger something inside you. Seek accountability with someone who will motivate you to maintain healthy eating habits. Walk up stairs instead of taking the elevator(but not for my case cos I live on the 25th floor!). Refrain from liquid calories!!! Force yourself to make time for the gym or do some activities!!!

I really want to go Chennai very much!! Destiny music has been invited over to lead worship for a conference to be held there in August and I'm really glad that I can go with Destiny! :D This has been in my heart for a long time, to go outreach to children in India slump areas, and I'm glad and I believe that God will fulfill this desire for me though I do not know what and where I will be working at after I graduate in march, I agreed to Destiny that I'm going Chennai with them!
Love is getting out of my comfort zone Love is sharing with others my blessings Love is seeking the benefits of others Love is putting others before myself Love is the best gift on earth which is from God. We love because God first loved us.
What touches me about the christian children in India is that they pray and fast for 40days before the annual conferences for revivial to be in their land! They're just kids! Though Singapore is such an advanced country but sad to say, other countries are much more advanced than us spiritually...
I want to start by loving my own country, my own church, my own family and friends

The foundation of faith is the word of God. Without hearing the word of God, we cannot have faith in God. The word of God is eternal, unchanging truth. It is firm, it is sure, it can be trusted and it is powerful.
Thank God for the great experience of faith in the Ahabah Pistis youth camp. I experienced the supernatural work of God by praying to Him with a spirit of confidence where lost luggage was found, zh managed to get his passport renewed and got a flight to join us the next day and the heavy downpour stopped miraculously immediately after we prayed. God is indeed good and true. He works with our faith!:D
I experienced love in the camp too! Love is not a feeling. Love is patience, love is forgiving, love is putting others before yourself and God is love. Our love comes from God. We have limited love but God's love is unlimited, is everlasting. We are all sinners and need forgiveness. We need God's love. I'm glad that we prayed together in God's love and we chose to forgive one another in GOd's love(:

These 2 weeks have been really fruitful and enjoyable with God and my beloved family and friends(:
Starting from the 17th and 18th christmas event, our hard work all these months have finally paid off! It was so rewarding to see so many people receiving Christ especially on the 18th! Even if only 1 person received Christ, our efforts were worth it because each and single soul is very priceless and precious!! The times spent together dancing, praying and crapping around were really enjoyable. Really thankful to God for this opportunity to serve together with renewal church as a big family(: Looking forward to seeing everyone again!(:
On the 20th, shuiting and I were really honored to dance for the Lord with Destiny outside ion! Thank God for the opportunity once again and giving us a good weather(: Thank God for our wonderful church friends who came down to support us too!!!(:
Christmas this year was very special spent in Surabaya with En youth! It was an eye-opener to see such a grand Christmas performance in Mawar Sharon church(: I'm so glad to met so many new friends from Surabaya too! They're friendly and treated us with superb hospitality! They shopped around with us to help us bargain, reserved best seats for us for the best view to watch the performance, brought us to eat nice food and even reach our hotel at 4am to send us back to the airport!!! I also enjoyed spending the Christmas with the En youth. It was so high high high!!! Hahaha. Thanks everyone for the great time together(: Though there were sad times too, I'm glad that we prayed together and we chose to love and forgive one another(:
28th went to tseyun house for NAS table tennis gathering and we played monopoly deal. Hahaha. It has been a long time since I've seen them and so glad to meet up with them especially Huiying!!! My closest senior(: I miss her! Stayed over at tseyun house to jog at ECP the next day. Haha. It's our first time training together for the sundown marathon next may! We jogged 5km altogether with a break in between. Our next goal is to jog 7km without break:x
29th met up with the girls for dinner. Thank God I'm still not sick yet:x Was having running nose and sore throat a few days before... We went to the angels cafe @PS! There were many many many angels around!! hahahaha. It was a great catch'up!(: Miss all of the gals! We seldom meet up:( Hopefully we'll have more time together next year!!!:D
Christmas is such a joyous occasion because we can spend time with our beloved family and friends... However, not to forget that the main reason why we can be so happy is because Jesus came to earth 2010years ago to die on the cross for us so that we do not have to die, for the consequence of sin is death and everyone is a sinner... So now that we can enter heaven, it gives us all the reasons to be happy!!!!(:

Ok first I LOVE TO DANCE! Especially hip hop and contemp dance cos I can put my feelings into it and dancing just makes me feel damn good! Love the feeling of moving and controlling every muscles of my body the way I want! And I think dancing is a great way of expressing myself and my emotions cos action speaks louder than words i guess... haha! However, I love to dance for my DADDY IN HEAVEN THE MOST! I'm filled with so much joy whenever I dance for Him because I know He enjoys it. He's the most enjoying and supporting audience!
I dance almost every weekend in church and attends hip hop class weekly at True Fitness(:
Other than dance, I love to play sports especially table tennis and volleyball and swimming occasionally. I have been training table tennis in school since primary 2(cos my eldest sister was the star player in sch that time so the teacher thought that I have the same genes as my sis and asked me to join too.. but she was wrong. hahaha!!!) I'm still playing competitively in NYP now. And I'm better than my eldest sis now cos I trained for 13years!!! Hahaha. I play table tennis occasionally for leisure with my eldest sis and other church friends in church occasionally(: I play volleyball leisurely with my secondary school friends. We used to play almost everyday after school during secondary school days and would play at sentosa sometimes... now we seldom play... but I still like the sport(: I play occasionally with my younger sister now. I'm so glad that she joined St Hilda's volleyball for a few months. Though she wasn't up to the competition standard of her school, we can play together leisurely and most importantly, she likes the sport too!:D Playing table tennis and volleyball strengthen the bonds between me and my sisters and friends:D I love being active.. It makes me feel so ALIVE!!:D
My eldest sister is a very cool drum teacher and drummer in our church. She inspired me to become a drummer too(SHE INSPIRES ME ALOT IN MY LIFE:)) cos I love the challenge in training my hands and legs to coordinate, to increase my maximum wrist and feet movement speed and endurance. I love drums because it creates groove and adds excitement to a song thus it's a great tool to express the feeling of the song which imparts to the listener(:
Things I like doing to my sisters:
I love to hug them!!! And I hug them real tight! Hugging them warms my heart to the max!!! Just a hug will chase my blues away which no outsider can give. Maybe because

Things I do when I'm really bored: Read a good book/Go for a run/sms someone/sleep/watch a movie/facebooking

what are the different things you do with each of the sisters, or all of you do things together? Actually I enjoy doing anything with all my sisters because I'm happy and carefree as long as I'm with them because I can just be myself and they know me so well and they accept me the way I am(: They may be intolerant of me sometimes but we'll still laugh together or hug and kiss each other after a few minutes:D
I enjoy shopping with my eldest sis most cos we have similar taste and she's not indecisive like my 2nd sis. I enjoy chilling with my 2nd sis cos she can crap alot with me and i can still gain some insights from her crap. I enjoy doing crazy things with her like doing slow motions at raffles city, taking photoshoots on the airport terminal 3 counters and in the middle of the road, dancing chio bibi... Lastly, I enjoy studying outside with my meimei and just slacking around with her(: She's my study and volleyball pal:D

what is the thing your sis do to you that you dislike? When my eldest sis talking becomes too dry. When my 2nd sis becomes too crazy and when she makes the house messy(almost all the time) and when she cares more about the computer than about me:( When my younger sister talks to ants, wear my clothes without asking and talks like disney channel kids
which is the sister you wish to marry off first? My 2nd sister!! So that the house will be much neater and will have much more space!!!

Auntie Annie

A few mins ago I received a text saying that Auntie Annie has just passed away. I was shocked. I was looking forward to seeing her again. I was excited to see her being healed and able to walk again. I was full of faith that God will heal her. So I asked God why. I didn't get an answer. But I believe that God is in control and He is a good God. I believe everything happens for a good purpose. Though I was disappointed but now I thank God that I managed to see her for the first and last time(long story) before she pass away... I have no regrets and so thankful that I took a coach 6 hrs there and back with my mum to see her, encourage her, pray for her and sing to her though I have an exam paper the next day. It was a really heartfelt moment. I loved her though it was my 1st time seeing her. I believe it was God's love in me and I'm so glad and honored to be a vessel used by God to demonstrate His love for Auntie Annie. I believe that she went with peace and faith in her heart and she's now dancing and jumping about, praising God in her newly created perfect body in heaven!!!:D :D I think God loves her so much that He can't wait to bring her to heaven with Him:D
As for Uncle Michael, the youngest in the family, who has been taking care of her, changing diapers for her, bathe her, massage her swollen legs, help her up in bed and etc... I really admire his love for his sister. Though he's devastated now over Annie's death, I believe that this is a blessing in disguise. I believe God knows that he's tired of carrying such a heavy burden of being the sole breadwinner of his family of 2 small kids aged 4 years old and 2 months old each, a wife, a mother, a mother-in-law and a bedridden sister who needs total dependency on her daily life. Oh did I mention that Uncle Michael has just accepted Christ last sunday? Hooray! He went to church initially to send my grandma, my mum and me there but he ended up receiving Christ! Praise the Lord. It was a beautiful thing to witness(: The only one among all the siblings who refused to believe in Christ is now a believer!
God is working in this house. I wanna go back again this weekend if I can. God You lead the way and bless this house in Jesus name I pray, amen!
